Orton AutoFire Programmable kiln Controllers are designed to automate your kiln firings by automatically controlling the ramp rates and hold times of your kiln. Orton Vent Master downdraft kiln venting systems remove fumes from the workspace making for a healthier environment in the kiln room and ensures adequate oxygen is inside the kiln for proper color development. Other kiln accessories are also available (gloves, markers, kiln cement, cone plaques and stackable tile setters)

Pyrometric cones are recommended by kiln manufacturers to be placed inside the kiln alongside your ceramic ware to "witness" or confirm the proper amount of heat-work was produced. Cones allow you to spot subtle changes that take place over time and allow you to take corrective action before changes impact your ware.
