Ecopsychology is a growing field in modern psychology that explores the relationship between human beings and the natural environment. This branch of psychology suggests that mental health is closely tied to one's connection with nature and that environmental issues can affect psychological well-being. Ecotherapy, a related practice, uses nature-based interventions like wilderness therapy, gardening, and https://www.modernpsych.ca/ outdoor activities to promote emotional healing.
